The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) serves veterans, service members, and their families who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wounds co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.
With the mission to honor and empower Wounded Warriors, the WWP is the hand extended to encourage Warriors as they adjust to their new normal and achieve new triumphs. Offering a variety of programs and services, the WWP is equipped to serve Warriors with every type of injury, from the physical to the invisible wounds of war.
On April 1st, they are holding a benefit dinner to support the Wounded Warrior Project. The benefit will be held at the Presidential Banquet Center beginning at 7:00 PM and will last until Midnight. Dress attire will be semi-formal to formal. To purchase dinner tickets, become a sponsor, or to make a donation, please use the links below. 4548 Presidential Way, Kettering, OH 45429
Sponsorships of $250 (Bronze), $500 (Silver), $1,000 (Gold), and $2,500 (Platinum), will entitle you to two tickets to the benefit. The sponsors will be seated at our Sponsors’ Tables, and will be acknowledged through any and all of our advertising. You will be formally recognized for your generous contribution with local news and advertisers.
In giving to this event, you are supporting an organization whose broad appeal reaches across demographic, geographic, and political boundaries. It’s not about the war, it’s about the warrior.
Tickets for the event will be sold for $50 per single, and $85 per couple. There will be a sit-down dinner with a gourmet menu. You can purchase your tickets online here. There will be entertainment, guest speakers, and guests of honor, in addition to a silent auction of donated items for bid. For your generous contributions, you will provide a letter/form for tax deduction after the event.
