Halotherapy

Halotherapy Yoga Comes To Dayton **Free Class Give Away**

March 15, 2015 By Dayton Most Metro

Local Yoga enthusiast Emily Von Stuckrad  hosts private wine and yoga parties, , yoga and chocolate meditations and now introduces us to a a brand new therapy that is making it’s Ohio debut right here in Dayton- Halotherapy.

What is Halotherapy?original

Halotherapy, or salt therapy, is an emerging type of natural therapy in the US.  It is widely popular in European countries, and is gaining popularity in the states.  It is completely natural, drug free, non invasive, and safe for all ages, including children.

The Halotherapy treatment involves relaxing in a room that is encased in salt, and during the treatment a piece of equipment, called a halogenerator, grinds pharmaceutical grade pure salt into fine micro particles, giving them a beneficial negative ion charge, and releases into the salt room.  The salty air delivers the treatment and is what makes halotherapy effective.  The negative ions activate the healing process on a cellular level, helping the body restore itself naturally and effectively.

How is this different from a true salt cave?

The Halogenerator is the single most important part of halotherapy.  While a standard salt cave, natural or engineered, will have tons of beneficial negative ion emitting salt, our halogenerator  provides a more effective treatment in much less time.  We can deliver results more quickly and effectively.
The Centerville Salt Room & Medical Massage offers HalotherapyEnjoy a 1 hour slow-flow yoga practice immersed in halo therapy. For centuries, monks used naturally-occurring salt caverns to treat respiratory ailments. Today, manmade Saltrooms recreate salt caverns, with one huge improvement over nature: in a Halotherapy room, a salt vaporizer pumps dry aerosol salt vapor into the air, so you can breathe it deep into your lungs. This unique practice will leave you feeling refreshed. Bring your own mat and props or feel the salt beneath your feet and practice without. It is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

Practice will be held at The Centerville Salt Room http://www.thesaltroommassage.com from 6-7pm on Friday, March 20, 2015. For additional information contact Emily at [email protected] or (937)603-9212. Reservations and pre-payment are required.

Try it for FREE Friday, March 20th
