***Triagulation Competition Details & Rules

Looking for a new experience? Test your taste buds with our triangulation competition! The competition will consist of a flight of coffees: four sets of three cups of coffee where two of the coffees are the same, one will be different. The goal is to find the different cup of coffee in each of the four sets.

You will be attempting to compete at a speedy but accurate rate. Accuracy will primarily decide the winner but in the event of a tie, time will come into play. This event is structured very similarly to the US Tasters Cu, except it will only be one round.

A group of eight baristas will take turns tasting in groups of two in between pours and we will update the leaderboard as the competition progresses.

–Two wais is abaristas will compete at a time however will not be competing against each other any more than the entire group

–All eight competitors will be competing against each other with accuracy and time

–Accuracy trumps time

–Time comes into play if two baristas are tied with accuracy

—-A designated timekeeper will keep time with a stopwatch – they are the end all be all when it comes to official timings.

–Baristas may bring their own cupping spoons if they would like, however are not required to.

— Sign up at the door for this one!
