Briana Arlene Robinson, professionally known as B.Arlene is an overall art enthusiasts and her love manifests itself through a variety of mediums. Currently, those include poetry and spoken word. B.Arlene has been passionate about poetry since she was a child, however she discovered her talent for writing and performing poetry while studying English (with a concentration in literature) at Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. In 2014, she began performing professionally as the host of a faith-based open mic, Metaphors of Praise. The following year she joined The Ness Open Mic Experience, as a regular performer. In 2017, B.Arlene participated in the Lincoln Incubation Program, at the Lincoln Theatre in Columbus, Ohio. This participation propelled her to new heights. She has been a featured performer at several galas and countless events and open mics across the country. Over the course of her career she has published two collections of poetry, Testimonies of a Broken (2017) and Clapbacks & Conversations (2019). She seeks to inspire thought and evoke emotion with her pieces, but above all seeks to share her story in hopes that it will inspire others to tell their tale
