A NOLA New Year’s Eve Dinner

Let’s leave 2019 behind and roll on into 2020 with our spirits high and a New Orleans-Inspired five course dinner! There will be sparkling wine specials all night long, a champagne toast at midnight and with dinner seatings from 5-11pm we’ll be keeping the bar open for all your new year’s revelry!

Here’s our five-course menu for Tuesday, December 31…
Seared polenta cakes with mirliton chow chow relish (GF)
-Dark roux Gumbo with venison, Andouille sausage, and Louisiana long grain rice
-Oysters on the half shell with Belle of Dayton ‘gin & tonic’ mignonette (GF)
-Local lettuce salad with roasted beets, pomegranate seeds, and aged goat cheese tossed in Prosecco vinaigrette (Veggie,GF)
-Crawfish and andouille sausage hush puppies with red eye aioli
-Rabbit and local bacon terrine with french dijon, blackberry-currant marmalade, and crostini
-Butternut squash, spinach, and leek gratin with gruyere and chive and fennel cream (GF,Veggie)
-Bouillabaisse with saffron fumet, gulf shrimp, whitefish, and clams, served with grilled bread and rouille (*GF)
-Mushroom ravioli: housemade ravioli filled with slow cooked mushroom and fresh ricotta filling in a rich sherry cream sauce, topped with fried parsley
-Braised beef short ribs with local winter root vegetable purée and fried leeks in a Cabernet demi-glace
-Savory blue cheese beignet
-Banana pudding with whipped cream and homemade ‘Nilla wafer
-King cake ice cream: housemade cream cheese ice cream with cinnamon and vanilla, dusted with purple, gold, and green glitter
