One Bistro, a non-profit cafe in Miamisburg that works on the pay what you can model, is hosting it’s first Farm to Table Dinner at 5:30pm on Saturday, September 12th at Mill Creek Farm in Tipp City. One Bistro’s Chef Markus Montreuili will prepare a meal using local ingredients from farms around Montgomery County and paired with Ohio wines and bourbon. The night promises fun, food and music that showcases what Montgomery County offers.
The dinner runs $65 per person and you RSVP with Montgomery County Farm Bureau at 696-3630. When reserving your seat please select one of the following entrees: pork tenderloin, half roasted chicken and herbs or sirloin steak.
All proceeds go to One Bistro, which has provided over 20,000 free meals to families in the Dayton area. They operate a restaurant in Miamisburg and a food truck. Most of their meals have a suggested price of $6-9, which covers the cost of a meal. Any donations over the suggested price are used to “pay it forward” to help cover the cost of a neighbor’s meal. If you are unable to pay for a meal, you can give time in service as payment.
