Father’s Day 2016 Dinners & Deals Round-Up

fathersdayprintrestaurant-stockOn July 19, 1910, the governor of the U.S. state of Washington proclaimed the nation’s first “Father’s Day.” However, it was not until 1972, 58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official, that the day became a nationwide holiday in the United States.

Father’s Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.
If you’re looking to treat Dad to a great meal, check out these restaurants for some special meals created with Dad in mind.  We’ve also included some meal deals and freebies being offered to celebrate the special men in your life.

 The cost is $39 a person and includes the choice of appetizer: lobster bisque, Modern Caesar or fresh seasonal fruits; select sides and a choice of entree: Signature Eggs Benedict, baked brioche french toast, blue crab omelet, prime rib with a trio of sauces or porcini-crusted Filet Mignon and choice of desserts: white chocolate bread pudding, cheesecake and walnut turtle pie.
