How to taste chocolate
THIS IS A CRAFT CHOCOLATE TASTING CLASS.
Our first class will be February 24 at the Downtown Dayton Metro Library in conference room 1A. Learn:
- Different places chocolate comes from
- How location and terrior effect taste
- How to taste and discover notes in chocolate
- How to find your best origin/craft match
But wait, there’s more… We will taste six chocolates, three – four of which will include bizarre and unusual pairings. Participants will leave with a gift of chocolate to practice tasting at home. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A CRAFT CHOCOLATE EVENT.
Cost: $25 per person in advance includes class, tasting materials (tasting guide, chocolate, palate cleanse), and chocolate gift to practice with at home.
Cost: $30 at the door includes class and tasting materials only.
Tickets may be purchased at Peace on Fifth or via Eventbrite. Ticket holder is responsible for any ticket fees.
We encourage you refrain from any of the following at least half an hour before the class: eat, brush your teeth or use a mint product, drink coffee or beer or cheese, or take sinus medication.
Refunds are allowed 1 days prior to event. Chocolate bars will be available to purchase at this event.
