Dayton Society of Artists and Dayton Art Institute Partner to Sell at Trash & Treasure
The Dayton Society of Artists will be selling antique furniture, art books, original framed prints, and artwork by local artist David Smith. The Dayton Society of Artists is collaborating with The Dayton Art Institute in selling the original David Smith artwork. Proceeds from the sale of David Smith artwork benefits both The Dayton Art Institute and the Dayton Society of Artists. Artist David Smith was a longtime member of the Dayton Society of Artists and is fondly known for his contributions. Smith passed away in 2016 leaving the entirety of his work to The Dayton Art Institute. So, come on out and support these important Dayton art organizations. Proceeds from sales for the Dayton Society of Artists support Phase 2 of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) facility upgrade project, which includes new gallery floors, a first-floor bathroom remodel, back entrance updates and maintenance of the Phase 1 ramp.
