Lily’s Bistro and The Dayton Sister City Committee are excited to collaborate on “The Sister City Soiree” on March 22nd from 6 – 9pm!
It’s a cocktail party featuring appetizers representing each of Dayton’s sister city’s food and culture and some of our own local favorites! Tickets are $25 and $10 from each ticket will be donated to the Dayton sister cities organization for The Dayton Sister City Committee Scholarship Fund.
Dayton’s Sister Cities:
-Square cut flatbread with harissa, shrimp, and local honey
-Fried sauerkraut and potato with german mustard
-Sour cherry and apple kompot with apple and blackberry
-Jollof rice with slow cooked tomato, spicy pepper, and okra sauce
-Rice wine pickled tsukemono daikon, Japanese eggplant, cucumber, and lotus root
-Tempura shiso leaf with wasabi mayo and roe
-Israeli cous cous and olive stuffed grape leaves
