Lamis Deek is a human rights attorney and activist based in New York, originally from Nablus, Palestine. She is chief counsel to the Global Justice and Human Rights Law Network, the founder of the Muslim Defense Project of the National Lawyers Guild, a long time member of Al Awda-NY, co-founder of the US Palestine Community Network (USPCN) and is an advisor to CAIR-New York along with many other non-profit national and local agencies.
