This family-friendly event is a great way to show children the benefits of both recycling and giving back to the community. Great things happen when a community “pulls” together!
Join us Saturday, May 20 from 8am – 1pm at the 2nd Street Market! Bring your tab collection to Tab-A-PULL-ooza for a friendly, FREE community contest benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Dayton!
Donations will be weighed by USI Insuarnce volunteers and then poured into a large commercial dumpster provided by First Street Recycling; allowing attendees to see firsthand the remarkable things that can happen when a community “pulls” together.
Prizes are awarded to the top collectors in three categories: individual, group and school
All participants will be entered into hourly drawings.
Pull tabs are taken to First Street Recycling to be recycled for their salvage value. The revenue generated from these pull tabs, along with pull tabs collected at the House throughout the year, generate approximately $16,000 for the local Ronald McDonald House annually. These funds help RMHC continue to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of critically ill or injured hospitalized children.
