Life Work of Lois Allen, curated by Amy Allen

This exhibit is to honor the work of an amazing artist, Lois Allen, and to share her legacy, that her memory will inspire us all to live our lives to the fullest by following our dreams.

Eric England

Eric Scott England has occasionally been accused of being a Superhero, Interrupted. In that pursuit he has dissected some cadavers, animated commercials, spread the Good News in Soviet Romania, taught high school and university art, earned some advanced degrees, been shot down by Marvel and DC as a penciller, eaten a lot of doughnuts and Kraft macaroni & cheese, hit the gym, sculpted for Disney and Warner Brothers, published several web comics, pushed his R1 to 161 m.p.h., doggedly written his congressmen, representatives and the last 3 presidents, amassed a cumbersome amount of comic-related paraphernalia, had shows here and there, written several screenplays, traveled the land, and allegedly scribes a damn good email (complete with pictures, links, different font colors- the stuff of legend).

Music By Ralph Jones Trio

Vocalist and guitarist Ralph Jones is from Dayton, Ohio and has an extensive background in jazz and R&B. He teaches guitar and voice in jazz and contemporary styles and has performed with Bob Mintzer, Donald Byrd, Idris Muhammad, and Jaki Byard.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Ian Borg is an audio engineer who has played the drums for nearly 40 years, usually playing progressive rock and jazz fusion with Latin, swing, and be-bop influences. He has lived in Dayton, Ohio since 2012 and has a professional audio business there.

Keyboardist Dave Palmer hails from State College, PA, and has studied and taught piano, music theory, and composition extensively. He currently plays jazz, rock, and church music in the Cincinnati-Hamilton-Oxford area.
