Preservation Dayton Happy Hour
October 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$30
Join Preservation Dayton, Inc for our first social happy hour! We are excited to meet you, share our love of historic buildings, and (of course) eat amazing food.
In 1886, John C. Dietz built his apothecary, personal residence and 2 additional live-&-work storefronts at the corner of Wayne and Jones: The Dietz Block. Yesterday it was known as the Norman Miller building. Today this historical building will be known as District Provisions.
District Provisions, and Glasz Bleu Oven, is a turn-of-the-century-style neighborhood market. It was designed and built to supply the primary daily grocery needs (provisions) to the residents of the Oregon District, South Park, St. Anne’s Hill, and the downtown Dayton commuting customers. We provide the highest quality organic produce, local humanely raised proteins, fresh local dairy, hand selected craft beer, imported wines, organic health foods and unique household goods.
With the motto of “Think local, neighborhood” we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you into this space. A tour, heavy appetizers, and a cash bar await. Not to mention some pretty amazing people dedicated to rejuvinating Dayton’s historic properties into a whole new century of awe-inspiring entrepreneurship.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
