PechaKucha Night Dayton Vol. 41
November 14 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pmFree
It’s the last PK of the decade! Meet us south of town at the historic Plaza Theatre in Miamisburg. Get your free ticket online or at the Plaza’s box office. This volume is ticketed so The Plaza can keep an accurate count of guests.
PKs start at 7:30 p.m., but you can come as early as 6:30 p.m.
Aaron Primm will emcee our evening with these speakers:
Judd Plattenburg – “Cuba_Dancer”
Sabrina D’Alesandro – “Burnout Nation”
Jacqui Taylor – “Long Overdue: Representation in Children’s Literature”
Hannah Booth – “A Good Story Lasts A Lot Longer Than a Good Time”
Janet Smith “Synchronicities, Are They Coincidence, Luck or Not?”
Michelle Collins – “The Plaza Theatre”
PK is free to attend but donations will help us continue. It’s a cash bar for volume 41. The beautiful poster art is by Heather Lee Reid.
PechaKucha Dayton is a free quarterly idea-sharing party and networking event for adults. PechaKucha, pronounced Pe – Chak – cha, Japanese for “chit chat,” is a fast-paced style of presenting using 20 slides discussed for 20 seconds each (20×20).
PechaKucha started in Tokyo in February 2003 by Klein Dytham Architecture. Dayton is one of over 1,000 official PK cities. We host a PK four times a year, attracting about 300 attendees to each event.
