Living History Series presents “Decision Height”
October 17 @ 7:30 pm$12
In partnership with the Dayton Theatre Guild, The Air Force Museum Foundation will present a live dramatic presentation of the script of Meredith Dayna Levy’s play “Decision Height” on Thursday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 7) at the Air Force Museum Theatre, followed by a Q&A and discussion with the performers. “Decision Height” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
“Decision Height” tells the story of six Women’s Air Force Service Pilots (called WASPs) who flew aircraft during World War II. While they didn’t see combat, these ladies were responsible for transporting planes and pulling targets for live ammunition training. This freed up the men for active duty after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The WASPs proved to be an important asset for the military, but have been largely forgotten in the history books.
This play was the winner of the 2013 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and is directed by David Senatore.
Tickets are only $12.00 each, $10.00 for Military and Air Force Museum Foundation Members.
