Hometown Habitat: Stories of Bringing Nature Home

July 21 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$5

Gardening cultivates an enduring relationship with nature. Five Rivers MetroParks is a community asset that improves the quality of life in neighborhoods throughout Montgomery County and provides gardening opportunities and inspiration for residents of all ages to enjoy the outdoors and have healthy, active lifestyles.

Award-winning director Catherine Zimmerman has incorporated narrative by Doug Tallamy in this compelling film about why we need to change our landscaping attitudes and practices and how change-makers across the county are doing exactly that. Learn how you can be part of this exciting movement by attending a screening with Zimmerman during Hometown Habitat: Stories of Bringing Nature Home on July 21 at Cox Arboretum MetroPark.
