Please join us for a FREE community conversation about N. Scott Momaday’s House Made of Dawn.

This community conversation will be moderated by Dr. Tereza Szeghi from the University of Dayton.

Scott Momaday is a poet, a Pulitzer prize-winning novelist, a playwright, a painter and photographer, a storyteller, and a professor of English and American literature. He is also the recipient of the Dayton Literary Peace Prize’s 2019 Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke Distinguished Achievement Award.

This event is part of the Dayton Literary Peace Prize’s Community Conversations Series. This fall, join area scholars and community readers at the Dayton Metro Library for wide ranging conversations about books written by authors honored by the Dayton Literary Peace Prize. Engaging professors from area universities will be joined by eminent Daytonians to talk about these works’ impact and artistry, essential themes, and connections to the authors’ other work, and the power of the written word to promote peace.
These discussions are free and open to the public.
