Learn to apply the techniques you learned in our Kayak Basics class!
This is an extremely valuable class for the recreational boater to attend. Basic River Running is moving water instruction that deals with controlling your kayak on the river. You will learn to perform a variety of maneuvers that will improve your paddling ability, promote confidence, and help you to identify and avoid hazards encountered on the river. The skills you learn during this class, you’ll use for years to come.
Meet at Whitewater Warehouse at 5:15. The class will be held on the Mad River and runs from 5:45-8:15 p.m. Small class ratio. Dress to get wet. Minimum of 3 participants required. Space is limited & reservations are required. Fee: $60, additional $10 fee to rent equipment.
Prerequisite: Kayak Basics or Equivalent.
