Auditions for To Kill A Mockingbird

Dayton Playhouse auditions begin at 7:00 PM each evening. Auditioners are encouraged to arrive at the Dayton Playhouse in advance of the auditions to fill out the Audition Form. Theatre resumes are encouraged, but not required; auditioners need to be prepared to list all conflicts between the audition date and the final performance of the production.

Beginning both evenings at 7pm. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script. All roles available.

Calpurnia (30-50) an African-American housekeeper
Maudie Atkinson (30-50) neighbor
Stephanie Crawford (30-50) neighbor
Mrs. Dubose (60+) neighbor
Nathan Radley (35-55) neighbor
Arthur Radley (Boo) (30-45) neighbor
Dill (8-11) a young boy
Heck Tate (45+) the sheriff
Judge Taylor (45+) the judge
Reverend Sykes (30+) an African-American minister
Mayella Ewell (18-22) a young woman
Bob Ewell (40-55) her father
Walter Cunningham (40+) a farmer
Mr. Gilmer (30+) Public prosecutor
Tom Robinson (25-35) a young African-American man
Clerk (20-50) clerk of the court
Townspeople (all ages)
